Job Description:
TAC2O (Technology Architecture for Command-and-Control Operations) is a five-year Task Order under the Helios IDIQ awarded to AT&T in December 2023. AT&T’s TAC2O contract provides a team of IT specialists who perform IT Engineering, Cybersecurity; Communications Security, Systems Administration, Software Development, SharePoint Development and Administration, and Program Management services supporting sensitive technical collection and exploitation missions and focused on driving optimization of performance and cost over time across multiple security domains.
AT&T has an opening for a SeniorWindows Systems Engineerfor the TAC2O program.This position will be providing managed IT support of TAC2O systems for high-priority defense intelligence collection needs.
The job duties of the SeniorWindows Systems Engineerare as follows:
- Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
- Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
- Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
- Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
- Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
- Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
- Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
- Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
- Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
- Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
Required Clearance:
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.
- Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred); must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary continuing education (CE) for certification.
Desired Qualifications:
- Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.
- Satellite server administration.
- Ansible playbook writing.
- Implementing STIGs.
- Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.
