As a HR Generalist in the Netherlands you work in a professional and fun HR team, commited to improve employee and managere experience in Netherlands and across Microsoft. You will work on a variety of HR projects in close collaboration with both HR and businesss stakholders and you'll ensure HR policies and governance for Netherlands are up to date.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field AND many years experience with HR or related experience (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology,
    • OR related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management,
  • Project management
  • Autonomously solution focused, and experience of end-to-end ownership.
Responsibilities
  • You will act as an employee advocate by implementing processes and looking at other measures to improve the lived experiences of employees. You’ll also ensure internal messaging is aligned, and develop strategies to improve employee engagement.
  • You will collaborate with your peers to execute or lead projects, programs, and initiatives, such as assessing new acquisitions or developing talent needs. You’ll also begin to develop and carry out project plans, and identify and respond to any emerging requirements.
  • You will foster a Microsoft-focused culture and drive business by engaging with local communities and influencing Human Resources stakeholders. You’ll also support the design and execution of a crisis management strategy, as well as help employees by activating the Employee Assistance Programs.
  • You will facilitate governance committees, as well as participate in the leadership team’s Human Resources governance processes. You’ll also maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and trends that may affect Human Resources policies.
  • Examples of responsibilities specifically in Netherlands are: ensure decision making based on data driven HR insights and coach managers on these insighths; be HR D&I champion and parnter closely with the Senior Leadership Team sponsor for D&I manage and improve our sickness processes in collaboration with the company doctor; HR point of contact for the Trusted Advisor; partner with business and Dutch Workers council on mandatory HR project implementations / systems or process changes.
