Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in economics, political science, public policy, law, international relations.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ work experience in a government affairs function for multinational corporations or industry associations, or for government organizations that engage regularly with the private sector
- Excellent skills in communicating with regulators and corporate internal partners
- Experience working with government agencies, legislatures, regulatory agencies, and industry associations
Preferred Qualifications
- General understanding of government relations in Vietnam, experience in the ICT sector will be a plus
- Strong ability to take complex situations and effectively communicate their implications for the company
- Excellent skills in drafting briefing documents
- Ability to build working groups or coalitions of like-minded companies to address key policy/regulatory issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and local language
- Candidate must be flexible, resourceful, self-motivated, and be able to consistently exercise sound judgment; have a strong sense of responsibility, and work with minimal direct supervision
