In your role as Senior Quality Specialist, you will work in a Scrum team to ensure the high quality of our software.
You will:

• collaborate with Teammember and Product Management to understand requirements and derive test cases in a test driven approach
• act as a mentor/coach in the team regard to testing and quality aspects, develop automated tests and carry out manual tests
• analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation
• support the creation and compliance with Definition of Ready and Definition of Done criteria
• configure and setup new test systems and test clients and test data
• be jointly responsible for setting up and maintaining a testing infrastructure, designing and implementing or managing the various test levels and test phases within the sprint

The position tasks would include, but are not limited to:

• Responsibility for development with focus on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team. Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.
• Taking full responsibility for accepted tasks and reliably executing these with well-balanced focus on quality, usability and speed.
• Working closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhancing skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
• Being a continuous learner with strong customer focus combined with business acumen.

What you bring

Required skills

• 5+ years work experience as Quality Specialist, Developer or similar roles
• A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in automated software testing
• You’re keeping yourself up to date with the latest test methods and relevant developments
• You are familiar with common QA tools and have practical experience with test automation
• You have a high degree of independence, a sense of responsibility and an eye for detail
• Strong analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must have

Preferred skills

• Experience with test automation and test automation tools, eg OPA 5, START, Viper
• German language skills are a plus
