Junior Consultant – International Tax and Transactions Services (ITTS)

Your key responsibilities
• Actively participate in various projects involving both corporate income tax and international taxation
• Be part of international tax planning projects for multinational companies
• Participate in tax due diligence projects in cooperation with other teams within EY Slovakia or from foreign countries
• Be part of projects related to acquisition and post-acquisition structuring
• Take part in client meetings, in person or via online phone calls
• Communicate with clients and process their instructions and requirements
• Communicate with tax authorities and other government bodies
• Actively participate in preparing proposals of changes to tax laws, thereby helping improve the business environment in Slovakia
• Assist in preparing research & development projects and cooperate with modern and innovative companies in the Slovak market
• Participate in projects supporting family businesses within Slovakia, with the opportunity to get a backstage look at successful Slovak firms
• Prepare specialist articles and contributions to our EY tax publications
• Pursue continuing education and participate in various tax training courses
• Opportunity of secondment to another EY office abroad
Skills and attributes for success
• Secondary education (with economic focus) or university education
• Strong communication skills
• Client-oriented approach

• Fluent English and Slovak
• Computer literacy (MS Office, MS Excel)
