You will align with product, marketing, sales, and partner teams to lead go-to-market strategies and sales plays. You will work with business development teams who drive Independent Software Vendors (ISV) adoption at your customers. Be a thought leader, and adept at responding to news, policy and regulation, challenges, and opportunities.
As an Account Manager..Cloud, you will be responsible for:
- Engaging with assigned customers, delivering valuable, proactive interactions and guidance appropriate to the customers' needs and goals
- Delivering regular reviews of assigned customer performance to management
- Managing opportunities through pipeline stages and forecast growth to the compute leadership
- Owning relationships within the account to drive growth of the platform by adding services and new workloads
- Identifying new features and platform changes that are required for expansion
- Working with partners, both Systems Integrators (SI) and ISV to increase compute usage in your territory accounts
- Driving long term commitments in exchange for usage growth
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2-5 years of relevant experience (varies on role) and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Have demonstrated experience with compute products and services
- Be passionate about building productive relationships with customers
- Display an ethical approach to account management, show integrity and be able to uphold Akamai values
- Demonstrate Akamai values of integrity, curiosity and urgency
