Job Description:

This role requires extensive stakeholder engagement and influencing with critical partners through the Intel supply chain.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage the consolidation of global bid volumes and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Freight Network and Analytics, Global Logistics Operations, and Corporate Strategic Purchasing, to gather and analyze bid data.
  • Develop and maintain bid-related documentation, including forecasts, spending reconciliation, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between bid teams and internal stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Support the bid core team in preparing for and executing global bids, including the creation of accurate volume forecasts and supplier selection criteria.
  • Conduct/Support after-action reviews (AAR) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance future bid processes.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze bid performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Work closely with the Bid Manager from CPLSS to coordinate forecast volume and pricing.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a focus on bid management and consolidation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with global logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
  • Knowledge of key cost drivers within each mode of transportation and experience with pricing in thelogistics/transportationindustry..
  • Project management skills and the capacity to drive data literacy within the organization.
  • Analytical and data mining skills, including proficiency with Excel, SQL, Access, Python, and Power BI.
