Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in leading a research agenda.
- Experience with microwave engineering, circuit design, EM simulation, or test-and-measurement equipment and practices.
- Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python, C, MATLAB, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with parametric amplifier design and test.
- Experience with filter design and impedance matching techniques, with the ability to innovate in this area.
- Experience with EM simulation tools and techniques (e.g., HFSS, Sonnet, ADS, etc.).
- Experience with PCB and IC design tools.
- Lab experience and the ability to debug hardware and software issues, in the context of microwave control and measurement of superconductor or semiconductor quantum systems.
