PhD degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in leading a research agenda.
Experience with microwave engineering, circuit design, EM simulation, or test-and-measurement equipment and practices.
Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python, C, MATLAB, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with parametric amplifier design and test.
Experience with filter design and impedance matching techniques, with the ability to innovate in this area.
Experience with EM simulation tools and techniques (e.g., HFSS, Sonnet, ADS, etc.).
Experience with PCB and IC design tools.
Lab experience and the ability to debug hardware and software issues, in the context of microwave control and measurement of superconductor or semiconductor quantum systems.
