About the role:

The Sales Commissions Analyst will be working cross-functionally with various departments including FP&A, Sales, Accounting, and HR to execute Commissions plans from beginning to end, including but not limited to system configuration, monthly/quarterly calculations, expense analysis, forecasting/modeling, and audits.

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly variable compensation processing, validation, analysis, and distribution of compensation reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  • Develop and provide ongoing standard and ad-hoc reports, and analyze historical, current, and prospective commission activity.
  • Provide expertise and support to sales leadership and individual sales representatives on compensation-related topics, including commission calculations, quotas, and payouts.
  • Troubleshoot and audit data discrepancies or exceptions, effectively communicating outcomes to Accounting, FP&A, and GTM teams.
  • Frequently review and audit various commission data points to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of sales compensation plans.
  • Assist with all bookings-related aspects of the company, leveraging financial & excel modelling skills to provide comprehensive reports and insights.
  • Maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
  • Assist in the annual sales compensation process including build-up, impact analysis and distribution.
  • Conduct other ad-hoc analysis and modeling as needed.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales compensation or financial analysis experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written with various levels of organization
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring commission data and resolving commission issues
  • Advanced Excel and business modeling skills
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Experience with sales performance management software and/or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with sales commissions software is a plus, including CaptivateIQ.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Salary Range: $66,000 - $85,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits
