As a Business Continuity Manager Sr within PNC’s Enterprise Technology and Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
Job Description
  • Governs the business continuity function and lifecycle for a large business segment to ensure the organization proactively plans and effectively responds to potential crises. Plans and oversees the execution of the organizations crisis response.
  • Leads planning and testing strategy for a large business segment. Oversees the execution of business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Acts as a subject matter expert on business continuity issues.
  • Provides insight to the vision and direction for business continuity lifecycle planning, including the business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery planning and recovery testing. Ensures vision and direction are in alignment with Enterprise-Wide strategy.
  • Guides the organizations' business units through the development of their crisis management plans, ensuring they have complied with organization-wide strategies.
  • Creates an environment of consistent and effective crisis management that protects the business, builds relationships and develops awareness and accountability for crisis management. Supervises the development and delivery of training on business continuity.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.
