you will be responsible for reviewing and overseeing direct tax compliance work for the assigned clients and other specific tasks. Your expertise in direct tax regulations will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with tax laws and maximizing tax efficiency.
Your key responsibilities
- Review of the local tax returns and deliverables prepared by juniors, while ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Review income tax, withholding and capital gain computation.
- Provide guidance and supervise the tax assistants in the team and provide on the job guidance and constant feedback on the compliance and other tax work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax information. Provide support and guidance to your team members on tax-related matters, including training and education.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable tax requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- University degree in Economics
- Min. 3 years experience withdirect tax (income tax computations, tax returns, capital gains computation and reporting);
- English language – medium/advanced level
- Excel – advanced level
