Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor or counsel to influence decisions.
  • Establish overall business or technical strategy for sales development.
  • Spend significant time on strategic planning.
  • Influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Drive the long-term success strategy of the sales development function.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5years of relevant overall relevant experience with5+ years instrategy,businessdevelopmentor related domains

  • A strategic mindset toidentifybroader areas of commercial opportunity, develop commercial market strategiesinformed by data, partner and customer feedback, and on-the-ground market insights

  • Business development acumen, with a focus on building and scaling strategic partnerships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

  • Organizational navigation, working in matrixed structures, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to influence and negotiate with external stakeholders.

  • Language requirement: English and Japanese

  • Experience in the fintech or payments space is a plus
