The position influences business strategy through strategic planning and executive-level decision-making. Key responsibilities include: defining and executing the Large Enterprise commercial plan to achieve KPIs, revenue, and margin targets; creating sales strategies to capture high-value prospects; managing executive-level partner relationships and negotiations; aligning on joint growth initiatives; working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Risk, Legal, Product, Tech, etc.) to implement best practices; identifying strategic partners to support growth; and demonstrating exceptional leadership.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and influence business strategies for organizational success.
  • Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership.
  • Lead initiatives that drive significant business impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 15 years of relevant overall experience with at least 5+ years in Payment Industry, Financial Services, eCommerce, Retail and/ or Strategy Consulting, Business Development or related domains

  • A proven leader with passion towards setting up high performing teams, entrepreneurship andinnovation.

  • Deep relationship management and negotiation skills with a proven track record

  • Experience in leading & developing a team to achieve high performance

  • Organizational navigation, working in matrixed structures, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to influence and negotiate with external stakeholders.

  • Language requirement: English and Japanese

  • Experience in the fintech or payments space is a plus
