Design and develop new features: lead the ideation, design, and implementation of new game features, from concept to completion.
Balance gameplay mechanics: ensure all new and existing game mechanics are well-balanced, providing an optimal challenge and progression curve for players.
Collaborate with cross functional teams: work closely with developers, artists, and other stakeholders to integrate new features seamlessly into the game.
Data-driven decision making: use in-game data and player feedback to refine and balance gameplay, ensuring a fun and engaging player experience.
Prototyping & playtesting: create prototypes of new features and balance changes for internal testing, gathering feedback to iterate and improve.
Feature documentation: write clear and detailed design documentation for all new features and balance changes, providing a roadmap for implementation.
Requirements
Experience in a Game Design role.
Strong passion for gaming, particularly with regards to casual mobile games.
Positive and creative mind with a passion for creating visual and narrative elements.
Solid grasp of design methodologies and up-to-date knowledge of the casual, puzzle or merge audiences, markets and player motivations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and can clearly and effectively communicate feedback and design ideas.
Proficiency in English
Ability to incorporate feedback from your team into your work and use it to learn and grow in your role.
Flexibility to onboard a variety of tools, with a drive to keep suggesting improvements to optimize your working environment.
