In your role as Designer at IBM, you will be responsible for:
• Working closely and collaborating with clients, other designers, researchers, consultants and developers to implement dynamic human-centered digital solutions; making sure the interaction is getting recorded and addressed correctly.
• UX and UI work includes cultivating a problem-solving mindset, defining feature goals, conducting qualitative user research, and translating user research outcomes into actionable product features. This involves creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, prototypes, and other visual artifacts.
• Create storyboards, layouts, impactful presentations, graphics, data visualizations, and other design artifacts in preparation for client meetings or product development.
• Participate/lead in Design Thinking workshops.
• Incorporate input from multiple stakeholders, communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, familiar with design best practices and processes.
• Proficient in crafting UX artifacts (e.g. user journeys, wireframes, prototypes) using UX/UI tools such as Figma.
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating design thinking, design process, and solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Practical experience of agile delivery, including working in cross-functional squads, overseeing creation of new design direction and/or development and implementation of digital products and services.
• Effectively communicate with senior client stakeholders, strategists, designers and technology teams to workshop and define future digital experiences.
• Experience in undertaking user research, user interviews, concept and usability testing.
• Have good logical thinking, analyzing and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with collaboration and management tools (e.g. Mural, JIRA, Github).
