What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve as primary contact on all aspects of the US and global immigration including work visas, registration and social security to ensure the company is compliant prior to the effective date of transfer
  • Serve as the liaison between local teams and internal colleagues to drive all immigration, tax and relocation business needs
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining mobility practices, policies and procedures that best suit our current program needs
  • Execute the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification process for all new hires through Workday and rehires which includes review of all I-9 forms and acceptable identification documents for accuracy and compliance within established time requirements
  • Manage the vendor relationship with outside immigration and tax vendors and other relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of immigration-related information, including visa types, expiration dates, and employee status through Workdays
  • Recommend alternatives to business leaders for employees whose visa applications are not approved and/or renewals and extensions are approaching maximum duration
  • Track and review vendor invoices related to global immigration and tax activities to document cost allocations and develop timely payments processes
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years of previous experience as an HR Professional in a fast-paced, growing company is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to apply resolutions
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of Workday preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills, with ability to work cross-collaboratively across multiple internal and external teams
  • Strong project management, organizational, time management skills
  • Experience with developing policy, training, and communications
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision
