Description
In this role you will leverage your software engineering expertise to lead a team of talented engineers and assist in day to day responsibilities, including design of system architecture, mentoring your engineering team, setting priorities, and frequently presenting to partner teams. Strong communication skills and the ability deliver complex engineering projects on time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a professional programming position
  • Extensive technical leadership or people management experience, leading engineering projects from inception to shipped software
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on involvement in teamʼs technical work
  • A deep sense of responsibility and pride in the teamʼs engineering
  • Experience with Java, SQL and relational database systems
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB
  • Commitment to automation and tooling as a critical part of the software lifecycle
  • Love the idea of ownership and delivering amazing products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with video and image media formats is also a plus
  • Experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, and Svelte
  • Familiarity with UX and UI design principles
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
