About The Role

As an Employee Experience Specialist in our team, you will play an important role in driving engagement among our Field Operations teams in COEs and GLs. You will work closely with COE, GL, and Central management to promote internal projects and programs, ensuring they are translated into clear and understandable communications to CSRs and experts. You will adapt and localise communication materials for global initiatives and support all formal communication with COE & GL stakeholders. A passion for people is a must!

What You'll Do

  • Be attuned to the specific needs of Uber’s culture, identify root causes of engagement issues, and work with the team that strives to improve and build culture across the region.
  • Drive, coordinate, and deliver operational communications within our COE/GL teams across EMEA.
  • Support the delivery of our Uber culture & values across our FieldOps teams
  • Craft creative events to support the delivery of our Employee Experience Strategy.
  • Execute our Reward & Recognition strategy on the ground and manage program engagement, aspiring to see a continuous increase in engagement.
  • Working with Culture and Engagement Coordinators on the ground and leveraging them as field experts to execute on our strategies.
  • Work across the EMEA Employee Experience team to execute our seasonal engagement roadmap on-site
  • Capture and compile feedback and encourage two-way dialogue
  • Drive and manage our wellbeing agenda and localise accordingly
  • Coordinate and execute events to a high standard to support engagement within the region
  • Support regional projects with engagement or communications dependencies for CST teams
  • Measure & track program metrics and identify trends, patterns, and improvement
  • Manage budget and finances in line with our seasonal engagement roadmap and event portfolio

What You Will Need

  • Proficiency in Polish and English is required!
  • At least 1 year experience in event management or employee engagement is required!
  • A passion for people and communication is a must!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: nonverbal and verbal, informing, presenting, engaging, influencing, and advising.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, persuading, aligning, saying ‘no’ adequately; you can be a confident and fact-based advisor to management
  • Excellent writing skills, communication experience in a highly proficient English-speaking environment is a requirement
  • Proven project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver deadlines
  • Professional experience with operational communications work – planning, asset and material creation, activation, measurement - is a big plus
  • High-energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • You have a hands-on, ‘no nonsense’ mentality and are a trustworthy and dependable team player
