Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Clearance Verification:This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Cloud Screening:Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.

This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
  • Experience with solution architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of Cloud and/or hybrid messaging/collaboration/unifiedcommunicationsenvironments.
  • Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: AzureFundamentals, M365Fundamentals. Teams Administrator,Information Protection and Compliance Administrator.
  • Experience and knowledge, in two or more of the following M365 solutions:Exchange Online,Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone & Rooms, SharePoint Online, Power Platform Solutions, Windows & Cloud Endpoint, Identity and Access, Management, Information Protection, Governance & Risk Management, Compliance Management.
  • Understand business requirements and customer problems and solve them through cloud technologies.
  • Technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
  • Experience in leading the planning, design, presentation, and implementation of solutions to meet customer, business, and technicalobjectives.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding customers' overall modern work portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding.
  • Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers
  • Assess the Customers' knowledge of modern work and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • sthe setup and configuration of Microsoft 365 services, including user management, licensing, and security settings.
  • Familiar with Azure Entra ID, user authentication, and access controls.

  • Supports the customer in their cloud journey of migrating on-premises Exchange Online.

  • Understands US Government compliance requirements, data protection, and retention policies and how to implement them in M365 services.

  • Familiar with networking concepts, DNS, and network troubleshooting.

  • Familiar with Windows Server management processes and best practices.

  • Familiar with TEAMS set up and configuration.

Technical Leadership:

  • Proactively develops technical and professional learning and development plan in alignment with and support from their manager. Role models effective technical readiness. Acts as a mentor and role model to less experienced colleagues to educate them on technical and non-technical concepts. Participates in development opportunities (e.g., Ready, Build, Ignite).
  • Shares ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft using a thorough knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the competitive landscape. Participates in external technical community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings with the internal team.
  • Generates new ideas for changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and processes for designated customers/partners. Drives opportunities for IP reuse, best practice sharing, and consumption acceleration. Proactively identifies gaps through delivery and communicating those gaps to others (e.g., Leadership, managed intellectual property [MIP], Design, and Governance). Applies subject matter expertise to develop new IP that fills identified gaps.
