Job Title:Reporting and Governance Analyst

Role Overview:
The role provides a well-rounded exposure to credit risk management, data analytics (e.g., data queries and Tableau reports) and communication skills (presentation opportunities). It spans the 3 primary EMEA legal entities (BofA Europe, BoFA Securities Europe, and MLI). The role involves building and maintaining legal entity and portfolio-level reporting routines as well as contributing to regulatory deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the daily risk appetite reports and producing monthly credit risk reports, including data movement research and breach escalation, as needed
Maintaining documentation of reports and critical risk figures controls governance, in addition to responding to evidence requests
Supporting the BofAE Credit Risk Committee, coordinating material preparation and assisting with minutes
Coordinating cross team discussions on horizontal topics such as risk challenges, Risk ID, and regulatory requests
Liaising with the businesses to understand trends in relation to portfolio changes and investigates any data quality issues
Supporting the Climate and Environmental risks integration into credit risk processes
Ensuring adherence to the policies and procedures established by ECGBR, in line with external rules, regulations and guidelines
Supporting the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to the inspection
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Other knowledge disciplines will be considered
Financial or general business support background in the corporate & investment banking business. Lack of experience however is not a barrier to otherwise qualified candidates who demonstrate interest in the area and a willingness to learn quickly
Project management skills, demonstrated experience of managing multiple deadlines and projects at any one time
Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills
Experience with Tableau and databases
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment in a variety of different situations.
Highly motivated individual with a passion for continued learning.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint software for presentation
