Job Description:

Position:Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting,

(Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

Reportsto:Finance Manager, Financial Reporting and Control

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and post journal entries (e.g. accruals, prepayments, recharges, suspense account clearing entries, settlement, tax transfer pricing) in adherence to the month-end close timetable.
  • Treasury related activities (i.e. Bank account reconciliation, tracking and investigating payments/receipts)
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and investigate variances.
  • Draft year-end financial statements and work with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
  • Maintain working papers to an appropriately high standard to satisfy local financial reporting standards.
  • Prepare returns and disclosures for Head Office reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of changes to UK/Ireland and International accounting standards
  • Ensure all processes are fully documented and adhere to TDBG standards.
  • Ad hoc reporting and assist with projects as required.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • An inquisitive mindset to identify and swiftly resolve issues.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite(Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across UK, Ireland and Toronto based Finance teams (e.g. Accounts Payable, Financial Operations team).
  • Good numerical ability with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing a busy and varied workload and develop/improve

processes where necessary.

  • The development and maintenance of good relationships with key stakeholders and the

ability to effectively communicate recommendations.

This role will suit:

  • A highly motivated individual with strong technical & excel skills with a desire to develop their career in the Financial Services industry.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • 2+ years post qualification experience within a finance team/department or accountancy practice.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation.
  • Awareness of accounting principles for UK/Irish GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Services experience is preferable.
