Job Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close processes, including the preparation of legal entity trial balances, P&L remittance, and Federal Reserve reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis and perform analytical reviews to ensure alignment with US GAAP and IFRS standards, guaranteeing financial accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements and support audit processes in compliance with IFRS.
- Manage intra-group income and expenditure allocations, including cash settlement, trend analysis, and efficiently address intercompany breaks.
- Ensure compliance with GLRS policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Accounting policies, and adhere to statutory filing requirements for all local legal entities.
- Oversee reference data mappings and manage SAP to BDA reconciliation processes.
- Utilize expertise in financial systems and experience with product migrations to enhance operations.
- Prepare IFRS papers to assess and document the impact of accounting changes when required.
- Engage in projects for new initiatives and expansions, contributing financial insights and expertise.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CASA) with four years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong analytical acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level presentations.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and automation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficient presentation skills.
- Strong IFRS technical skills with interpretation and application.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience with banking products and derivatives is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Keen interest in AI and Automation.
