Job Responsibilities
Serves as primary contact on key projects and is instrumental in understanding stakeholders’ visions for events that achieve goals & objectives
Leverages expertise and demonstrates ability to meet and exceed stakeholders’ expectations
Provides regular communication with project teams, both internal and external, and participates in and offers solutions during cross-functional meetings
Collaborates with internal clients to develop scope, vision, budgets, product experiences, event plans, and execution of events
Researches, negotiates, and contracts venues for events
Creates menus and coordinates details of food and beverage
Sources, negotiates, and manages vendors for staffing, décor, lighting, entertainment, AV, security, promotional items, signage, and transportation
Responsible for all event financial tracking including budget development, iProc creation and follow-through, POs, invoicing, reporting, and project budget reconciliation
Develops creative solutions and plans to implement best practices related to event management techniques while remaining consistent with organizational objectives
Applies event experience and industry knowledge to provide guidance on methodology to be used for complex requests, challenges, and situations with stakeholders, partners, and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Event Planning or related work experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Event Planning or related work experience.
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Event Planning or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Large-scale global events and tradeshow coordination
Basic understanding of marketing principles and able to define objectives and strategies
Strong strategic, planning and project maangement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and creative problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills
Experience managing agencies and vendors
Able to performs tasks without noticeable direction and assignments are self-initiated
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style, ensuring all team members are contributing to discussions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies, selecting best practice methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Frequently interacts with employees, customers, agencies, and senior management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Airtable, and Cvent

Pay range:
$105,000.00 - $158,000.00
