Responsibilities:

  • Build USPB ERM Risk Monitoring capability including monitoring of material risk, exposure against risk appetite limits & thresholds and key risk indicators/metrics.
  • Develop high quality risk reports that support the timely identification, measurement, monitoring and controlling of risk including information on risk profile, concentrations, and trends for individual and aggregate risk of USPB business.
  • Provide monitoring results to senior managements and business leadership on a periodic basis to support sound risk management and decision making.
  • Drive to automate the monitoring and reporting process in partnership with stakeholders in USPB business, Enterprise Risk Management, Independent Risk Management, and DART (Data, Analytics, Reporting and Tech).
  • Ensure required governance and controls are in place in the monitoring and reporting process.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of financial industry experience including risk management and financial planning and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change, with track record of improving business performance and enhance risk management
  • Skills in data, analytics, databases, data quality are desired; experience in Tableau, PowerBI, visualization is preferred
  • Relevant experience in the following areas preferred:
    • Credit risk management (e.g. wholesale credit, retail credit)
    • Non-Financial risk management (e.g. Operational, Compliance) is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Experience in consumer bank and/or wealth management business
    • Solid experience in working with technology to drive useful solutions

  • degree in business, finance, engineering, computer science or other analytical field; Master’s degree preferred.
