Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA with a technology specialization is preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital products in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record of developing and managing successful digital products that incorporate AI and data analytics to solve Oil & Gas industry specific challenges.
• In depth knowledge of Oil & Gas operations, including exploration & production, refining, distribution and petrochemicals.
• Proficiency with industry-standard data sources and systems, such as PI, SAP, LIMS, Maximo, SCADA and HYSYS.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, big data processing tools (e.g., Databricks), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to travel to the Middle East region based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive vision and strategy that incorporates AI and data to meet the evolving needs of the Oil & Gas industry.
• Lead the ideation process to identify and conceptualize use cases where AI & Data can significantly impact the Oil & Gas industry.
• Create models for calculating the value of use cases, incorporating factors such as cost savings, revenue generation, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Prioritize use cases based on strategic importance and collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps and establish operational models for successful implementation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, effectively translating business objectives into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and design teams, to build and scale products that utilize machine learning and cloud.
• Implement monitoring mechanisms to track the performance and outcomes of deployed use cases, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead agile teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and system requirements.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
