Due to an internal promotion, we have an opening for a who will own the strategy and execution of the channel partner program in .


Key Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with regional and GBE channel marketing teams develop and execute strategies to support channel growth KPIs, including growth in MDF usage and ROI, partner engagement and retention metrics, and rebate program design.
  • Own the delivery of the Catalyst Partner Program to the US and Canada channel partners.
  • Develop and represent a point of view on channel priorities, program competitiveness/attractiveness to regional partners and on opportunities to support regional commercial objectives through improvements in program structure and execution.
  • Manage competitive program analysis in partnership with regional commercial teams. Suggest and implement regional program improvements to continue positioning HON as the preferred partner .
  • Ensure regional channel partner footprint is aligned to STRAP and AOP objectives , including vertical and geographic coverage.
  • Own internal reporting for the US&C region and represent it in monthly channel team reviews with functional and business leadership.
  • Formulate and deploy program optimization strategies , including owning the 80/20 exercise for the regional programs in partnership with pricing, customer service, sales, and marketing.
  • Drive annual partner tier alignment and program launches for the region.
  • Implement initiatives to drive adoption and usage of digital program tools , such as the partner portal, positioning and reinforcing it as a value-added program benefit.
  • Manage compliance and legal requirements of the channel program, ensuring deployment and renewal of program agreements, channel contracts, partner due diligence and vetting.
  • Partner with the customer marketing team on digitizing and deploying channel-facing marketing processes, such as the MDF and promotions submission/review.
  • Champion and deliver Catalyst Partner Program training to internal stakeholders and regional teams.
  • Represent channel at customer-facing functions, including channel partner summits and other events.
  • Partner with sales excellence and regional commercial teams to ensure partner POS and inventory data reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in marketing, sales, commercial operations, or excellence, preferably within channel-focused industries or companies.
  • 2+ years of channel marketing or channel operations experience.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI and Tableau skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience with industrial and/or building automation distribution networks.
  • Self-motivation and self-management.
  • The ability to build consensus across various functional groups.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong interest in driving commercial growth in complex business environments and large matrixed organizations.
