About the Role
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Executive Protection Intelligence Team: Manage a dedicated team responsible for providing protective intelligence and threat management to support executive protection operations and mitigate risks to Executive Leadership Team
- Provide Strategic Intelligence Support for Executive Protection: In coordination with Global Strategic Analysis team, deliver actionable intelligence to support executive protection planning and operations, ensuring the safety and security of high-profile individuals through proactive threat assessment and mitigation strategies
- Mitigate Physical and Digital Vulnerabilities: Implement and support strategies to reduce vulnerabilities and proactively address emerging threats across physical and digital environments
- Technology and Tools Optimization: Lead the identification, alignment, and prioritization of current and future technology needs with stakeholders, ensuring the program leverages effective solutions
- Develop and Lead the Protective Intelligence Program: Oversee the creation, implementation, and enhancement of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the program’s effectiveness
- Strengthen Protective Measures for Employees Facing Security Threats: Build and maintain a robust protective intelligence program to assess and respond to threats or security risks targeting employees
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage and coordinate with regional security teams, human resources, employee resources, employment legal teams, and other corporate security stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of protective intelligence efforts
- Training and Education: Develop and execute training and education programs to improve adoption and integration of new processes and technologies
- OKR and KPI Development: Inform and contribute to the development of objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the program’s success and impact
- Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication processes to keep stakeholders informed and engaged at all levels, providing updates on program progress and risk assessments
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate or government security, protective intelligence, or threat management. Demonstrated experience in leading protective intelligence programs and executive protection support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in threat assessment, behavioral analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Familiarity with physical and digital vulnerability assessments and mitigation strategies
- Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including executive protection intelligence teams. Experience mentoring junior team members and developing training programs
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and develop actionable insights. Expertise in creating measurable objectives (OKRs/KPIs) and evaluating program success
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including reporting and presenting to senior management. Ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel globally as necessary. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, 24/7 environment
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Business Administration)
- Program and Process Management: Experience in designing and optimizing security processes and workflows. Proven track record of successfully implementing change management initiatives
- Knowledge of Compliance and Regulations: Detailed understanding of data privacy laws and regulations. Experience handling sensitive information
- Tools and Technologies: Proficiency with protective intelligence platforms, analytics tools, and threat monitoring systems. Familiarity with security and incident response technologies
- Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for security solutions
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across cultures and time zones. Diplomacy and tact in managing sensitive situations and diverse stakeholder expectations
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year - USD$122,500 per year.
For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year - USD$122,500 per year.
