Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.
You will:
Electrical Infrastructure Planning: Plan infrastructure requirements to support power products in the manufacturing environment. Evaluate electrical load requirements and ensure alignment with production needs
Facilities Coordination: Partner with facilities teams and external consultants to ensure that facility design and modifications meet technical requirements, particularly for electrical distribution, and power management
Project Communication & Risk Management: Provide clear, concise updates on project status, timelines, and milestones. Identify potential project risks or delays and develop/communicate mitigation strategies to ensure deliverables remain on track
Strategic Site Planning: Contribute to long-term manufacturing strategies, including layout optimization, space utilization, and infrastructure scalability
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, electrical systems planning, or industrial engineering roles
Experience in collaborating with facilities engineering teams and external engineering consultants
Desirable Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of power systems, electrical load planning, and infrastructure integration in a manufacturing setting
