Your impact

In joining Jacobs you will:

Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics plan for the construction site, considering material deliveries, storage, staging, and transportation.

Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment according to project requirements.

Identify and manage interfaces between different disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical, etc.) within the project, ensuring clear communication and avoiding conflicts.

Review and analyze construction drawings and specifications to identify potential logistical challenges and propose solutions.

Manage the construction site layout, including material storage areas, access roads, and equipment staging areas.

Monitor and track deliveries, inventory levels, and equipment usage to optimize logistics efficiency.

Prepare and maintain logistics reports and documentation.

Participate in project meetings to discuss logistics plans and address any challenges.

May assist with construction planning and scheduling activities.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.

Here's what you'll need

Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in construction logistics or a related field.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
