In this role, you will:
- Assist in pitching and executing capital markets debt transactions (ie primarily publicly-traded bonds and other debt securities)
- Participate in analyzing companies and their Capital Structure
- Make recommendations to clients
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within Investment Banking Program
- Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Take ownership of client deliverables and coordinate with your team to execute
- Interact with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with investment grade debt capital markets
- 2+ years of capital marketsexperience
- 2+ years of financial services industry experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance; MBA or CFA a plus
- Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
Job Expectations:
- Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
