IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Banking - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1513239), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX.

Provide technology solutions for clients in the consumer and retail banking industry. Work with companies to update aging technology infrastructure, focusing on the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Define technology solutions requirements, including selection, design, testing, and deployment. Provide a variety of technology services that help plan, define, and execute key technology implementation capabilities. Help manage and deliver IT projects through the full project lifecycle from assessment through design and system implementation.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 – 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in technology transformation. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field and 4 years of work experience in technology transformation.

Must have 1 year of experience in one, or across several, of the following Banking and Capital Markets verticals:
- Consumer
- Wholesale
- Auto Finance
- Payments
- Sales and Trading
- Investment Banking
- M&A
- Custody

Must have 3 years of experience in one, or across several of the following Banking and Capital Markets domains:


Must have 4 years of experience in any combination of technology project delivery activities spanning the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:
- Business Case
- Implementation/ Strategy
- System/Vendor Selection and Proof of Concept
- Requirements Definition
- Systems Analysis
- Systems/Technical Design
- Infrastructure / Environment Set-up
- Data Mapping / Migration
- QA/Test Strategy
- QA/Test Execution
- Conversion strategy
- Product Management
- Deployment

Must have 3 years of experience managing the technical direction of an IT project, or alternatively, 3 years of experience in team leadership for a component of the SDLC lifecycle.

Must have 2 years of experience in building project plans and staffing plans, including schedules, interdependencies, utilizations and budget.

Must have 2 years of experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
