Job description:

  • Manage relationships with internal factories, OEMs, BUs, Operational teams (Production Planners, Material Planners), Commercial teams and other stakeholders to create long / mid-term perspective on E2E Supply Chain.

  • Being responsible for calculating and sharing the production and distribution plans for the dedicated factories within the Value Stream.

  • Pro-actively raise process optimization, recovery actions for KPI target satisfaction and be strong partner in continuous improvement initiation.

  • Prepare and update short and long term E2E supply network plan for using the advanced planning system and analytical tools.

  • Minimize supply chain costs and integral inventory level of own material portfolio; Guarantee material availability in line with agreed Customer Service Level (CSL).

  • Check and monitor that master and transactional data quality in the advanced planning system is correct to enable it to calculate correctly.

  • Review system generated plans and manage (un)expected short term exceptions under time constraints and with limited information.

  • Propose corrective actions in case that outstanding supply issue lies below targeted levels, and inventories deviate from planned levels.

  • Perform scenario planning, feasibility checks in case constraints. Validate new safety stock proposal.

  • Collaborate with and challenge information impacting planning outcomes received from factories (internal and OEMs) for e.g., capacity, material call off lead times, etc.

  • Escalate structural scarcity issues, Phase in/out outstanding issue to Global Master Planner and execute / deploy the agreed priorities to factory and demand planners.

  • Manage POs in SAP.

  • Monitor and validate the balance of stock flow and connect with markets to perform the stock balancing.

  • Ensure creation of inputs / reports (e.g., allocation proposal) for their value stream for S&OE meetings.

  • Provide scenarios in case of contingencies.

  • Cooperate with project team to safeguard phase-in supply performance for all new introductions.

  • Lead for phase-out process for own value stream, monitoring obsolescence control and timely connecting with Global Master Planners.

  • Monitor slow moving and phased out inventories, and escalate to GMP, BU S&OP Value Stream Leads and marketing for resolution aim for minimize the supply chain cost.

Requirements:

  • Working experience of capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), deployment planning and S&OP processes.

  • Experience in identifying bottlenecks in the supply chain and define solutions.

  • Knowledge of supply planning master and transactional data.

  • Data interpretation, and analysis. Able to drive complex root cause analysis and report those.

  • Ability to manage short term exceptions on tight timeline.

  • Experience in working with multi-cultural, diverse and global team.

  • System knowledge: SAP, Blue Yonder ESP (advantage).

  • Highly motivated, proactive team player.
