Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the annual external Client Asset audit and any other scheduled internal audits or compliance testing.
  • Manage Client Asset Breaches effectively.
  • Collaborate with the business to ensure process maps accurately cover all Client Asset-related processes.
  • Map Client Asset risks and controls to ensure comprehensive oversight and management.
  • Provide Client Asset-related training to stakeholders.
  • Review and update our Client Asset Policy and Standards to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Assist in the review of new business and product initiatives to ensure compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s Client Asset requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic planning processes to ensure Client Asset compliance supports overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • A working understanding of the Client Asset rules and their application.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to succinctly communicate requirements and actions.
  • Ability to work innovatively and deliver consistently to a high standard.
  • Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills and ability to drive change.
  • Experience in a financial services environment.
  • Understanding of the application of other Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority, and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive rules.
