- Prepare design criteria and methodology documents for the team prior to the start of a project.
- Undertake design activities associated with the planning, design and construction of overhead Transmission Lines.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams on the design of overhead Transmission Lines.
- Undertake reviews of engineering designs produced by the Transmission Line team.
- To support project delivery and business growth in the Transmission Lines practice
- Ability to assist in development of engineering service proposals and fee estimates

Here's what you'll need
- Technical and speciality skills
- Tertiary Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 8 years’ experience in overhead transmission line engineering.
- Has an in-depth expertise in own job discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the Power industry
- Advanced user of PLS CADD, TOWER and POLE (or at a minimum has a strong understanding of the PLS software packages)
- Delivers projects, or aspects of, on or under budget.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong technically with ability to convey this verbally and in written reports
- Provides technical leadership.
