As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand generation campaigns for the national business development team. The activities will accelerate the growth of a qualified pipeline for the fire business and the adoption of new technologies. Responsibilities shall include the development and execution of regionally based campaigns; research to identify target customers and influencers; campaign messaging; lead nurturing and event planning and execution. The position will require social media networking and some customer facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers and influencers in target verticals.
  • Develop targeted messaging based on customer pain points.
  • Help facilitate webinars and assist in event presentation development.
  • Event scheduling and budgeting
  • Drive social media engagement to support initiatives.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree qualification and marketing or sales qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market research, customer engagement, sales, or marketing required.
  • Customer support experience and knowledge of the Energy Storage or renewable energy industry are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas/targets.
  • Experience with SFDC or similar opportunity tracking software required.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn and social media required.
