Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement and cost-effective practices

  • Provides direct supervision to Distribution personnel, ensuring timely execution of distribution plans and achievement of operational milestones including manufacturing & logistics schedules

  • Champions a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and LEAN

  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance service levels, reduce operational costs, and support overall business objectives

  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, issue resolution, and multiple shifts (weekends)

  • Collaborate/partner with internal and cross-functional teams

  • Analyze trends/supply chain strategies, conduct required analysis that support financial and capital planning/improvements, recommend initiatives/tactics to meet business growth and financial objectives.

  • Manages departmental goals and KPI’s, ability to both conduct analysis and lead teams to conduct analysis

  • Baseline warehousing and distribution network cost structure and capacity utilization

  • Use data and structured tools to identify and address performance gaps

  • Lead cross-functional projects and allocate resources effectively

  • Use problem-solving tools (e.g., fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis) to identify and address quality/performance gaps

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our supply chain including manufacturing, distribution, partners, customers, baseline of product flow and seasonality, detailed operating costs, key supply chain processes in sourcing, planning, and operations.

  • Profile/articulate supply chain processes and inventory flows throughout the network (end to end)

  • Analyze network optimization opportunities for cost, inventory, and service delivery

  • Optimize inventory flow through network (e.g. ship from DC vs. ship from stores; partner drop ship options; optimal stocking positions and storage footprint

  • Develop high-level planning models to support inventory optimization across supply chain networks

  • Assess inventory planning processes and systems and recommend potential improvement opportunities for optimizing service levels and inventory turns

  • Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes in transportation, freight optimization, warehousing & distribution

  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day targets and relationships to ensure exceptional on time performance

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.

  • 2–5+ years of operational experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management

Desired Characteristics
  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Experience working in a regulated healthcare (FDA, cGMP) environment

  • CSCP and/or CLTD certification

  • Established project management skills.

  • Experience with SAP/WM
