Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of overall experience in Software performance engineering in a professional setting
- Good understanding on performance engineering concepts like perf modeling, application benchmarking, requirement analysis and testing.
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, cookies, AJAX, etc.
- Knowledge of computer science, with an in-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Service Oriented Architectures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert in understanding various performance testing tool like Jmeter, K8, Gatling.
- Experience in programming in Java, Scala or any other object oriented programming language with deep understanding of object oriented concepts Experience in No-SQL , RDS DB like Cassandra, Mongo DB, Couchbase, Oracle Knowledge on multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, multi-threaded and reliable web services Experience with EKS, Containerization, Serverless Technologies, SNS/SQS, ElastiCache, S3 and Kubernetes is a plus. Experience working with a large scale consumer facing websites is a plus Experience scaling distributed systems to handle millions of concurrent requests is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field with 6+ years experience
