DESCRIPTION

This position will require travel as necessary up to 20% and will work between two different sites within Nashville area.Key Responsibilities:1. Process Optimization and Improvement:
- Analyze and evaluate existing warehouse processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and streamlining.- Utilize lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement tools to drive operational excellence and reduce costs.
- Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, line balancing, capacity analysis and process mapping to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Use of CAD based software for review of material handling equipment, building layout and material flow.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide evaluation reports.
- Have experience with ERP implementation and help validate system and process designs.2. Team Leadership and Management:- Manage workload distribution, prioritize projects, and ensure timely completion of assignments.3. Project Management:
- Oversee and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and white papers to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques
- Proficient in six sigma methodologies, and process improvement tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as process mapping, data analysis, and project management software.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices related to warehouse operations.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Oracle ERP software and manufacturing execution systems
- Experience in complex work environments, including (but not limited to robotics, automation, diagnostic and test equipment)
