Your key responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries, assisting organisations on how they manage and report on a broad range of sustainability and climate related risks and impacts.
- Delivery of assurance of non-financial reporting, including sustainability metrics, emissions and energy reporting across a range of industry sectors.
- Contribute to strategy, solutions, methodologies, analytical frameworks and tools to help clients succeed and navigate complex regulatory environments and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Assist clients to develop and implement sustainability strategies, develop targets, and implement plans to enhance sustainability value for a broad range of sustainability topics, including diversity, waste, modern slavery and environmental impacts.
- Assist in climate scenario analysis including understanding climate risks and opportunities, in order to formulate short-and long-term management objectives.

- Professional services/consulting experience.
- Tertiary qualification, such as in engineering, maths or physics.
- Experience in climate change services (either in professional services, industry or government).
- Experience in GHG accounting.
- Demonstrable experience in and passion for reporting and/or assurance of greenhouse gas emissions.
- Working knowledge of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act, and associated legislation (Safeguard Mechanism, Renewable Energy Target).
- Awareness of the Australian Accounting Standard Board S2 standard requirements Experience in financial or non-financial audit (either in professional services, industry or government).
- Experience leading teams and coaching and developing team members.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice as well as a good understanding of the climate-related issues.
- Climate and nature disclosure experience, including knowledge of the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD) Frameworks.
- Knowledge of, and experience in decarbonisation approaches, climate risk and climate strategy.
- Agility to learn and adapt on the job, ask the right questions and strive for the best solutions for clients.
