What you'll do

· As a Cloud Automation Developer, you will be working with a cross-functional team including developers, product managers, and release engineers to support the validation and release of new products and features.

· Tasks include planning and executing tests, defining test scopes, and implementing strategies for pipeline-based tests in CI/CD scenarios.

· The role requires a mix of both manual and automated testing using existing frameworks.

· Define quality targets and implement quality KPIs in order to assess quality and compliance status.

· Create transparency and awareness of quality status with stakeholders and give recommendations for release/deployment decisions.

· Support other members of the team, including interns, on proper test creation, execution, and reporting.

What you will bring

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.

· Knowledge of Linux Operating System, including crontab, bash, core utilities, package managers, grep, awk, sed, ssh, etc…

· Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript or other programming language

· Fundamental concepts about Cloud

· Container skills & experiences (preferable also with container orchestration with Kubernetes) is a plus

· Experience with Git

· Basic knowledge about test tools and approaches

· Knowledge about CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)

· Knowledge about quality assurance tasks

· Knowledge about designing and creating test data

· Comfortable resolving complex issues within own area of expertise and supporting others in resolving issues.

· Constant drive to build skills beyond your own core functional focus and working on other tasks for the benefit of the team.

· Fluency both written and spoken in English
