As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Hands-on QA of feature developments.

• Design and execute new tests per new requirements, and regression tests for existing ones.

• Working with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Providing daily / weekly QA updates to relevant stakeholders.

What you’ll bring with you

• Minimum of 3 years experience performing QA in complex systems and environments.

• Deep understanding of test processes and methodologies.

• Strong background with Backend, API and Web systems testing.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as: MySQL and MongoDB.

• Experience with CI tools and technologies (such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes).

• Proficient in the UNIX/Linux environment.

• A passion for learning and for technology, with an energy and drive to get to the bottom of things and find those bugs.

• Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision, take initiative, set priorities, follow through and see tasks through to completion.

• Excellent analytical skills and ‘out of the box’ thinking.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (Including in English).

• BSc./B.A. degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and/or ISTQB certified – Advantage.

• Experience in the cellular industry – Advantage
