Your Role and Responsibilities

The Engagement Acceleration Lead is responsible for designing journeys to provide a personalized and immersive experience for potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts that deliver tangible impact by facilitating experiences that showcase our products, services, and solutions to key decision-makers and influencers using interactive displays, product demos, presentations, and other resources.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualize, design, develop and coordinate industry-focused journeys that are aligned to IBM priorities and deliver outcomes that increase customer confidence and return opportunity development and expansion
  • Identify and build strong working relationships with Subject Matter Experts to cull out best of IBM assets for demos, case studies, and activations on priority topics at IBM
  • Create scalable journey experiences and share content in the content repository
  • Provide strategic consultation through collaboration with sales teams to develop engagements that focus on balancing customer objectives and sales goals and promote these journeys through collaboration with Go-to-Market and Ecosystem teams

Salary starts at 3300 EUR per month based on relevant experience.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within marketing/digital sales/marketing sales/business development
  • Relevant business experiences within the events and marketing functions of a technology company
  • Experience with executive briefings
  • Capability to work in an environment with a high degree of shared responsibility between and across team members
  • Ability to interact with senior management and influence decision-makers
  • Advanced project management skills and experience, including the ability to manage multiple objectives, work independently, and allocate time appropriately
  • Experience implementing design thinking practices
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and solve business problems
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategy, audience strategy, and client experience design & measurement preferred
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional global organization with teammates residing in other time zones
