Description
As a member of the Swift Charts team, you will implement new features and craft elegant APIs that surprise and delight our users. You will be responsible for bringing your ideas to life through all stages of their development: from initial research, to API design and proposals, to testing and development in Swift, to documentation and offering guidance to adopters. You’ll join us in energetic discussions of each other’s work and ideas, alongside collaborators possessing a variety of different perspectives and domain expertises.
Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, UIKit, and Core Animation fundamentals
  • Passion for clean and well-layered architecture
  • Strong engineering and debugging skills and an excellent grasp of OS fundamentals, ability to craft elegant and concise APIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, project management, and other organizations within Apple
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • Understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers - Some experience with SwiftUI
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
