Job Summary:
As a Collateral Servicing Specialist you are responsible in ensuring the timely processing of collateral release for paid off loans.
Job Responsibilities
- Review loan transactions to ensure proper documentation and secured collateral are in place and not cross collateralized to other loans prior to release.
- Send email correspondence, any clarification and/or follow ups to market contacts/business partners to notify paid off status of the loan and obtain approval for release.
- Complete/close cases within required SLA.
- Report/escalate cases that are pending or aging.
- Ensure that the standard operating procedures are followed and updated on a timely basis
- Resolve queries sent by the Business Partners / officers
- Actively participate in process improvement and automation
- Ensure adherence to Quality Control standards established in the function from time to time
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (must have at least 1 year of loan servicing, insurance and customer service experience)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong client focus mind-set with proficiency in answering inquiries and providing information, and effectively doing follow ups to external clients/market contacts.
- Demonstrated focus on ownership and relationship management.
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work in team-oriented environment and able to cooperate and collaborate with others
