Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in design, analysis and validation of electro-mechanical systems and products (e.g., server products).
- Experience in mechanical product design and documentation using 3D CAD tools.
- Experience in designing and analyzing structural and thermal engineering concepts with heat transfer and fluid dynamics, and material properties/science.
- Experience in designing and analyzing with detailed tolerance analysis and tolerance loop methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis and validation of server systems and products.
- Experience in implementing air/liquid cooling thermal solutions for sever system development.
- Experience in mechanical structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Experience in designing complex electro-mechanical assemblies with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis, Design for Manufacturing (DFM)/Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, sheet metal and injection molding, structural and thermal analysis, mechanical test plan.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
