Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all aspects of Arterial Global Marketing while also playing a key role on the cross-functional franchise leadership team.
  • Develop and execute multi-year, integrated commercial plans for the arterial franchise, ensuring alignment with franchise and PI Vascular objectives, and the Strategic Plan and US Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Drive execution of commercial plan to obtain identified franchise revenue, profitability, and budget objectives.
  • Attract, develop and lead direct reports including 3 group marketing managers and product manager. Foster diverse and inclusive teams that live the BSC core values.
  • Actively coach and mentor organizational talent by creating opportunities for challenge and skill advancement, with appropriate reward and recognition. Develop succession plans and long-range organizational plans.
  • Set inspirational goals and accountabilities for the marketing team. Formulate and execute annual and long-range global franchise marketing plans that achieve revenue targets, marketing objectives and program KPIs. Ensure visibility to marketing impact, success measures and metrics.
  • Oversee franchise global marketing execution to ensure sales revenue, product development, commercialization and market development results are measured and achieved. Makes and executes operational decisions with a strategic perspective.
  • Coordinates strategies, action plans and communication across the regions and other marketing stakeholders (priorities, sequence, timing) to optimize impact and deliver on targets.
  • Continuously assess global arterial market and competitive dynamics, barriers and opportunities. Leverage insights to drive to action plans.
  • Champion the voice of the business and customer. Translate insights into actionable requirements to inform product lifecycle management, growth, sustaining, new product portfolio and new business development decisions. Prioritize market issues and opportunities and allocate organization resources accordingly (budget, people, process, etc).
  • Influence and leverage internal and external relationships toward stated goals. Communicate franchise opportunities and business needs clearly and negotiate necessary functional and/or senior management resources commensurately.
  • Remove organizational barriers and drive decision-making by leveraging matrix relationships and capability (senior management, Sales, R&D, Ops, Clin/Reg, Regional marketing, Corporate Marketing, etc).
  • Foster and leverage industry relationships with key physicians, customers, government, societies, company partners and others to further franchise/division goals. Facilitate team's development of these relationships. Serve as a resource/subject matter expert to senior management.
  • Ensure a learning mindset among team members and foster continuous improvement approach to the business, products, people and processes. Understand future business needs and set expectations for excellence accordingly (skill set, product, or process). Drive change by establishing priorities, then developing plans defining roles and accountabilities for improvement, and metrics for evaluating success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in complex commercial program management or team leadership in med technology, pharma or biotech
  • Global marketing and product launch experience
  • Experience managing a commercial team
  • Understanding of all disciplines of marketing, marketing strategy, commercial/sales process & operations
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels globally.
  • Highly motivated individual with an action-oriented mindset.
  • Track record of success leading cross-functionally to develop plans and tools to maximize sales potential.
  • Travel 30-45% domestically and globally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration degree
  • Significant collaboration and demonstrated success in working across a global, matrixed organization
  • Commercial and customer-first mindset, track record in working across multiple geographic regions
  • Ability to influence across multiple levels
