Sales Enablement:
- Partner with client teams to craft compelling sales presentations, proposals, and narratives tailored to address prospective partner needs and business opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights and tactical support to sales leadership and client partners ahead of high-value partner engagements.
- Develop data-driven talking points and analyses to strengthen pitches, negotiations, and overall sales positioning.
Commercial Governance:
- Define and provide commercial terms that align with Uber's financial objectives while delivering value for partners.
- Build and maintain robust sales and P&L forecasting models to guide the sales process and secure necessary internal approvals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Ads, Freight, Uber for Business, and Direct) to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities across Uber’s ecosystem.
- Maintain and manage a centralized repository of commercial agreements, terms, and financial commitments to ensure transparency across teams.
Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly review and refine sales enablement tools, processes, and strategies to stay ahead of market trends and evolving partner needs.
- Proactively gather feedback from sales and commercial teams to identify operational bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Continuously refine prioritization and go-to-market models to align with changing business objectives with client partner incentives.
- Identify and work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and product teams to help us capitalize on additional growth and profitability opportunities.
- Develop and execute end-to-end commercial acceleration initiatives, from planning to execution. Ensure alignment with financial priorities.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, technology, or a related field.
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Excel/Google Sheets and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and consumer trends in the Grocery and Retail industry.
- Experience working with or supporting sales & commercial teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to see the bigger picture as well as the important small details.
- Consistent track record of solving complex operational problems using data analysis, demonstrating the ability to break down ambiguous problems in a structured way.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, problem-solve, and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills, including proposing innovative and effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Track record of balancing multiple critical tasks and consistently meeting tight deadlines with high-quality outcomes.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$116,000 per year - USD$128,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
