Logistics Transportation Coordinator - Jeddah - 12 Months Contract
This position will be based in Jeddah with 12 Months Contract
As anyou will be responsible Perform all procedures related to supply chain conducted within the country, providing efficient alternatives to materials transportation and for keeping records up to date to obtain in compliance audits.
Key Responsibilities;
- Obtaining all necessary documents required for import of goods into the country from various sending sites. The documents are then to be provided to the customs broker and tracked for delivery into the warehouse.
- Maintain and tract all inbound KPI .
- Assist with Sales, CC and DP enquiries on export or import shipments and procedures.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation providers to ensure that shipments are delivered / Collected on time. Proactively Highlighting customs and shipment issues.
- Maintain records of all import and export transactions, track shipments and prepare reports.
- Update shipment and in transit related information into SAP system.
- Ensure proper customs documentation is used for import shipments. Track relevant customs documents and file them in the repository for compliance.
- Monitor product damages and Insurance Procedures.
- Monitor special cargo requirements like temperature control, DG and Demo cargo.
- Assess Freight Forwarder / transporter Performance.
- Act as back up for the local distribution activities within the country.
- Provide dispatch report for outbound transport to transport providers
- Ensure all shipments are dispatched as per the planned appointment dates
- Track rejection reasons and root causes
- Track POD’s and pre-POD’s and ensure that they are saved in the repository
