Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Camera ISP tuning and image quality optimization (including temporal noise reduction, sharpness,

tone mapping, image contrast algorithm etc.) for IP camera, sport camera, drone camera, and

robotic camera.

  • Design and conduct objective and subjective lab and field experiments of prototype hardware

and software to critically examine image quality, behavior and performance.

  • Working with the test teams to design test methods for the algorithms and to facilitate the test of

the new algorithms before SW release.

  • Collaborating with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work.

  • Seeking out learning opportunities to increase own knowledge and skill.

  • Providing training for internal and external customers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of subjective/objective image quality evaluation.

  • Knowledge of ISP pipeline and 3A behaviors.

  • Experience of camera ISP tuning and image signal process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of Snapdragon ISP is a big plus.

  • Experience of Image processing algorithm is a big plus.

  • Experience of image sensor characterization.

  • Experience of optical system design.

  • Proficiency in C++ or MATLAB or Python.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

  • Master's, Imaging/Color/Optics Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field.

  • Preferred: Doctorate, Imaging/Color/Optics Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
